On normal school days, Community Schools events are always canceled if schools are closed. On weekends, cancelations occur on a per-school basis (contact school to verify your event.)

Teacher Continuing Education Units

The general policy is 1 CEU for every 10 hours of seat time.

CEU Procedure

1Turn in the prior approval form to appropriate school personnel.
2Take the course.
3Obtain a certificate of completion from the instructor.
4Give the certificate of completion to the Staff Development Contact at your school. At the elementary level it is the Instructional Resource Teacher (IRT). At the Middle/High School level it is often an Assistant Principal or IRT.
6Check to ensure that your information has been updated in eSchools.
